1About Genio

Genio is an AI-powered training content creation platform that helps users turn training needs, ideas, documents, policies, processes, and other source materials into learning and training content.

Features may include AI-assisted content generation, course structures, assessments, activities, images, narration, translations, and other learning assets. Features and availability may change as the product develops.

2Your Account

You are responsible for providing accurate information when creating your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. You must notify Lumofy if you become aware of unauthorized access or use.

You may not share access in a way that circumvents applicable user, account, subscription, or usage limits.

3Your Content

You retain ownership of the materials you submit to Genio, including your documents, text, prompts, policies, procedures, images, and other source materials (“User Content”).

You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and use any User Content you provide.

You grant Lumofy the limited rights necessary to host, process, reproduce, and otherwise use your User Content solely as required to operate, secure, support, and provide Genio and its features.

You must not upload confidential, copyrighted, personal, or third-party information unless you have the authority and appropriate legal basis to do so.

4AI-Generated Content

Genio uses artificial intelligence to help create training and learning content.

AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, incomplete information, inappropriate suggestions, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and approving generated content before publishing, distributing, or relying on it.

Genio should assist professional judgment rather than replace it. You remain responsible for determining whether generated training content is appropriate for your audience, business, regulatory requirements, and intended use.

Subject to applicable law, third-party rights, and these Terms, you may use and adapt content generated through your account for your own business, professional, or commercial purposes.

5Acceptable Use

You may not use Genio to break the law, violate another person’s intellectual property or privacy rights, distribute malicious software, attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts, interfere with the operation or security of the service, misrepresent Genio or Lumofy, or create or distribute unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive material.

Lumofy may restrict or suspend access where we reasonably believe the service is being misused or these Terms are being violated.

6Lumofy Intellectual Property

Lumofy retains all rights in Genio itself, including the platform, software, interfaces, workflows, designs, branding, technology, underlying systems, and other proprietary materials.

Using Genio does not transfer ownership of Lumofy technology or intellectual property to you.

“Genio,” “Genio by Lumofy,” “Lumofy,” and their associated branding may not be used without authorization in a way that implies endorsement, ownership, or affiliation.

7Plans, Credits and Payments

Genio may provide free and paid plans with different limits, credits, functionality, storage, or access to features.

Current plan details and prices will be displayed when applicable. Lumofy may update plans, pricing, credit allocations, or features from time to time.

Any applicable payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms presented during purchase form part of these Terms.

8Credits and Usage

Generating content in Genio uses credits. Every generation and every regeneration uses them — writing and rewriting content and course structures, pictures, narration, translations, research and other AI operations — at the rates shown in Genio.

Figures on the pricing page or elsewhere about how many courses, e-books, audiobooks or other content a plan can make are estimates of what its credits might make. They are not a commitment by Lumofy to that number. What a plan's credits actually make depends on what is generated and how often: a single course can use all of a plan's credits, depending on how many times its content, pictures and narration are generated again.

A plan's monthly credits renew each month, and monthly credits that are not used do not carry over to the next month. Extra credits bought separately do not expire.

9Subscription Term and Cancellation

Paid plans are an annual commitment: the subscription runs for twelve months and is billed monthly, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

You may cancel at any time, but cancelling does not end the annual commitment. If you cancel or terminate the subscription before the end of its twelve-month term, the remaining value of the subscription for that term remains due and payable.

10Refunds

Payments are non-refundable. Lumofy has no general refund policy.

Lumofy may, at its sole discretion, consider a refund in a specific case where a fault on Lumofy’s side prevented the service from working as described. Any such refund is decided case by case and does not create a rule or an entitlement for any other case.

11Availability and Changes

We work to keep Genio available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may modify, update, improve, replace, restrict, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary, including as Genio develops.

We may also release beta, experimental, or preview features. These may change or be withdrawn without notice and may not perform in the same way as generally available features.

12Third-Party Services

Some Genio functionality may rely on third-party technology, infrastructure, AI services, payment processors, or other service providers.

Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to their applicable terms or policies.

13Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Genio is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Lumofy does not guarantee that AI-generated content will always be accurate, complete, compliant, or suitable for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumofy will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses arising from your use of Genio, your reliance on generated content, or unauthorized use of your account.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Genio at any time.

Stopping use, or cancelling a paid plan, does not end its annual commitment (see section 9).

Lumofy may suspend or terminate access where necessary because of a material breach of these Terms, security concerns, unlawful activity, non-payment where applicable, or risks to Genio, Lumofy, its users, or third parties.

Data associated with terminated accounts will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-retention requirements.

15Privacy

Your use of Genio is also subject to the Genio by Lumofy Privacy Policy.

16Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Genio, applicable laws, security requirements, or our business practices.

The latest version will be published with an updated effective date. Continued use of Genio after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.

17Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, subject to any mandatory laws that may apply.
